What is the best muscle car to street race with?

Right know in my mind I have the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 HT stuck in my head and it is number 6 on top 10 muscle cars, I guess that is a good choice. When I get the car I am putting it up to probably 720 HP engine from GMPP and from there it is going to Tokyo, Japan and it will be worked on there. Also the car I make will be featured as one of the main cars on the next Fast and The Furious movie [not Tokyo Drift, one being made after that]. So this is seriously important.
