Who killed the Muscle Car.1 out of 3 left?

Mustang is the only playa' left in the game...

Chrysler is bankrupt(Charger)
GM will file by June 1st(Camaro)

Hate to say it, but Ford is the only playa left in town.

And those GM and Chryslers coming in the future?

Think K-Cars and X-Cars...that'll be mainstream America again, not someone making $15.00 Hour/driving a Hemi Truck to work.

Vipers and Corvette's, and frivolous others like Camaro and Charger are dinosaurs that tried to resurrect themselves at the worst possible time.

Game over...we try to sell & make on the cheap, but America was just not buying.

Your thoughts?

I am looking into buying an old muscle car (late 60's early 70's). I want something that has a LOT of power, a good reputation, and something that will turn heads as I drive through town. I like the fastback look like the general lee. what would you suggest that I invest in. I have about 9 grand or so saved up and don't mind doing some mechanical work.

What I mean is that Ive always though that old muscle cars like mustang fast backs and 69 camaro ss, were just amazing. I cant even change my own oil to be completley honest so would it be dumb for me to buy a car like that ( one thats already completley redone ) ? And how would I go about learning about cars and engine.. etc. anyways. ?

It's a 1975 corvette in okay condition. It runs fine, it's automatic, and the paint is peeling a little bit near the front right tire. I know it's a classic and was just wondering if there's anyone on here that knows about old cars and their values. Please don't say $10 and think I'm going to sell it to you. I am really honestly wondering.
Oh, and it's got I thin 35,000 miles on it. So much fun to drive!
Alright! 200 grand! woo hoo! ;) you ment 2 grand, right?
No, my husband bought a brand new engine for it a few years back and rarely drives it...it really does have 35,000 miles.
