Think K-Cars and X-Cars...that'll be mainstream America again, not someone making $15.00 Hour/driving a Hemi Truck to work.
Vipers and Corvette's, and frivolous others like Camaro and Charger are dinosaurs that tried to resurrect themselves at the worst possible time.
Game over...we try to sell & make on the cheap, but America was just not buying.

when you can buy a 4 cylinder that will handle better and striaght line as fast as a ‘muscle car’ plus get 30+ mpg when you let off the gas, why would you buy a dinosaur?
the truth is that the generation that loved muscle cars (baby boomers) is aging and now drives buicks, toyotas and lincoln’s. their pacemakers won’t handle muscle cars. the younger generation is buying ricers and rally cars. perhaps the next gen will like a muscle car agian.

sheep killed the muscle car ,although i wouldnt classify mustang as a muscle car but a sports car.you can get performance from a car with reliability and gas milage, our big 3 forgot to make their own cars and gave us jap/korean cars and passed em off as good, and you bought em, sheep
