Muscle cars are bought on sight — very expensive and then they pay $40,000 to restore the master piece back to original condition. Come to Daytona on Thanksgiving and we have Turkey Rod Run and there will be a thousand cars to choose from and purchase…

69,70,71 chevelles or cameros are great but can get pricey. if price doesnt matter, a 70 chevelle with the 454 big block is the way to go.

The most common “muscle” cars are the first generation Mustang and Camaro. How much are you planning on spending. If that were known we could give some suggestions.

It depends on how much you want to spend. A ss396 camaro or ss 454 chevelle will cost a lot of money. A good alternative to the high prices is to buy a plain jane lowly optioned car with a 6 cylinder and swap it out with a crate motor. Depending on how much you want to spend and if your willing to do work on it the options are infinite.

better yet get a more base model. a lemans instead of a GTO. A malibu instead of a chevelle SS. etc etc. They are the same body just different trim and engines. you will save a ton of money that way. And if you want more power you can always hop up the current mill or just drop a different one in.
