You are right on point. What is the 0-60 time?? Even a 600 cc bike will stomp all over cars. It’s called weight reduction. So yes I would agree the videos are bogus and rookie certified!!

I agree with you for the most part. But its not impossible to see a car beat a bike. There is a video of a 1600hp supra beating a hayabusa, so its possible but very unlikely.

I fully understand your explanation and to a certain point…I agree! BUT, there is such a thing as rookie drivers and no matter what the hp is on a machine…if the guy cant drive…the guys gonna lose! So beside the bike or tuner… the DRIVER must have the skills! Cause a turbo can beat any bike given the right conditions! So…I think I just repeated what you said… so… I completely agree! HA! DRIVERS RULE! What do you own?

By your logic, every bike I’ve seen get beaten by a 4 banger just had a “rookie” rider….. sure thing, guy.

Any 1000CC+ sportbike can beat a tuner car with equally skilled drivers in a straight line. Roll on or stand still. For the record, the busa is a sport tourer. The GSX/R 1000 is more of a true sport bike.
Less weight, less drag, more pyoon, bike wins everytime. I don’t care if you buy every performance part in Pep Boys, it’s not happening!
I look at that cheesy video and yes the rider is not juicing the throttle correctly. You can hear how he’s not even on it or in the right gear or something.

i totally agree lol, you can get a 20k dollar motorcycle and it will beat basically any car on the road with a good driver. ridiculous. I had a turbocharged k series bmw (heavyish) back in the day (turbo was aftermarket) and as nice as my 500 horse diamante is that bike would have kicked the shit out of any car i have driven and let me tell you there are better bikes on the road these days lighter with more power

the only car that is going to consistently beat a literbike or bigger in a race is a formula 1 car….and that’s because they have double the traction, same power to weight ratio, and better weight distribution (lower center of gravity)
