check your cadillac converts How many miles?

it could be fuel delievery or your transmission. if it’s when you stomp the gas you could even check your throttle body. It depends on how it responds. Wat exaclty does it do when you try to floor it?

I was trying to figure out what Raul answered…”cadillac converts”. Finally figured it out. Catalytic Converter. And I guess it could actually cause the problem.

I don’t think it’s your catalytic converter as you would have issues when the car was cool as well.
It sounds like it could be your ignition coil. The reason I believe this is because it only happens when the car is warm. This is very characteristic of an electrical problem. And the fact that it happens when you ‘stomp’ on the gas leads me to believe that it’s specifically related to your ignition.
If you have a ‘bad’ ignition coil, you may not notice it when it’s cold, but when it heats up all of the faults become apparent as the heat increaseses the internal resistance within the coil. This will cause weak spark and poor performance, especially when it’s warm and when demand is high. This is what I believe you’re experiencing.
A way to test it? Check your primary and secondary resistance when the coil is cool. After it’s good and hot, shut the car off and check it again. There are specs for these values (I don’t know them), but I’m sure you could find them out relatively easily.
